Anthony Davis will be held out for Pelicans Wednesday
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis will not play on Wednesday in Chicago versus the Bulls.
Davis has been cleared to return from his finger injury, but the Pelicans are going to hold him out through Thursday's trade deadline, so the coveted big man will miss a ninth straight game. Nikola Mirotic (calf) is doubtful and Julius Randle (ankle) will likely be a game-time decision, so Jahlil Okafor could be in for another start and busy workload. Jrue Holiday will also continue to benefit.
Davis is averaging 61.2 FanDuel points in 41 games. numberFire's models expect him to record 27.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 0.9 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
