Jeff Green puts up season-high 26 points in Wizards' loss
Washington Wizards guard/forward Jeff Green scored a season-high 26 points (9-of-19 field goals, 6-of-6 free throws) with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block, and 2 3-pointers in 36.3 minutes of a 137-129 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
Green has now scored at least 20 points in three straight games after failing to reach the mark in back-to-back games at any previous point this season. He's averaged 23.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 2.3 triples in 33.1 minutes over that three-game stretch while seeing extra run as a small-ball five. Otto Porter's potential departure at the trade deadline could mean even more opportunity for Green moving forward. The Wizards play in Milwaukee against the Bucks on Wednesday.
Green finished with 42.5 FanDuel points in the loss. He's averaging 38.7 FanDuel points over the past three games, compared to 22.6 FanDuel points per game overall (51 contests).
