The New York Knicks are acquiring center DeAndre Jordan from the Dallas Mavericks as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Jordan joins a crowded frontcourt in New York that already consists of Noah Vonleh, Mitchell Robinson, Luke Kornet, and Enes Kanter. He may not see much playing time down the stretch if the Knicks put a priority on developing their younger players. Jordan, 30, will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Jordan averaged 33.3 FanDuel points in 50 games for the Mavericks this season, with 11.0 points, 13.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks per contest.
