Wesley Matthews and the Dallas Mavericks reportedly agreed to a 4 year $57 million dollar contract over the weekend.
Upon losing Monta Ellis and Tyson Chandler, the Mavs have rebounded nicely by signing DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Matthews. Matthews, coming off an achilles injury, is known for his range and defense. Portland's sharpshooter averaged 16 points a game while shooting 38.9% from three and posting a nERD of 4.6. Comparing those numbers to Ellis' 18.9 points, 28.5% from 3 and a nERD of -4.8, Matthews is an upgrade.
