Knicks' Trey Burke expected to see increased role with Emmanuel Mudiay out

New York Knicks guard Trey Burke is expected to see an increased role on the team with Emmanuel Mudiay out two weeks with a shoulder injury.

What It Means:

Burke has seen his minutes ramp up to an average of 25 in the last two games and he could see an even more prominent role with Mudiay gone. The expectation is the Frank Ntilikina will get the start at the point, but the Knicks don't always do the obvious move, leaving Burke as a darkhorse option to get some starts.

Our models have Burke modestly projected for 17.3 FanDuel points in 17.9 minutes on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets.
