Joel Embiid to take a breather for 76ers on Saturday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (rest) will not play Saturday versus the Denver Nuggets.
Embiid has been dealing with a tight back for the past week or so, and while his production hasn't waned, 76ers head coach Brett Brown figures it's wise to give the big man a day off. Amir Johnson will be in line for a start and there will be more work for Mike Muscala and Jonah Bolden.
Embiid is averaging 52.6 FanDuel points through 46 games. numberFire's models expect him to record 22.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 2.1 blocks per contest over the remainder of the year.
