Grizzlies to listen to trade offers for Marc Gasol and Mike Conley

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports the Memphis Grizzlies will begin listening to trade offers on franchise stars center Marc Gasol and guard Mike Conley.

What It Means:

With the Grizz sitting at 19-28, the seoncd-worst record in the Western Conference, the team is ready to start looking towards the future. Gasol may be the easier of the two to trade as he is in the last year of his deal with a $25M player option for 2019-20. Conley has one more fully guaranteed year on his contract, worth $32M for 2019-20 and a partial guarantee of $22M for 2020-21.

Gasol is averaging 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game while Conley is posting 21.3 points and 6.0 assists per game this season.
