Rajon Rondo (hand) expected to return for Lakers on Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo (hand) will play Thursday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, barring any setbacks, head coach Luke Walton said.
Lonzo Ball is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury, so Rondo's return couldn't come at a better time for the Lakers. Brandon Ingram will return to the wing after running the point on Monday and Josh Hart will likely return to a role off the bench. Rondo hasn't played since Christmas.
Rondo is averaging 24.5 FanDuel points over 14 games this season, with 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 3-pointers per contest.
