D'Angelo Russell drops 31 points with 7 treys, Nets destroy Kings
Brooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell scored 31 points (12-of-25 field goals) with 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and 7 3-pointers in 32.0 minutes of a 123-94 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
Russell scored 30 points for a second straight game, becoming the first Nets player to do so since Deron Williams in the 2012-13 season. He's also made at least 7 triples in three of the past four games, handed out 7-plus assists in five straight games, and recorded a steal in six straight games. Brooklyn hosts the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
