76ers' Corey Brewer to start in place of Jimmy Butler (wrist) on Monday
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Corey Brewer will join the starting lineup on Monday with Jimmy Butler (wrist) sitting out against the Houston Rockets.
Brewer has played just 8 minutes in three games since signing a 10-day contract with the Sixers last week. The 32-year-old is not likely to see an extended run on Monday, leaving plenty of minutes available for Furkan Korkmaz and Landry Shamet off the bench.
Brewer averaged 5.3 points, and 2.1 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per game last season with the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
