Bulls’ Wendell Carter Jr. expected to miss 4-6 weeks with thumb injury
Chicago Bulls power forward Wendell Carter Jr. (thumb, knee) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The Bulls still haven't revealed the official results from Carter Jr.'s MRI, but things aren't looking good for the rookie. Bobby Portis figures to be the primary beneficiary and will likely see heavy minutes at center.
Carter Jr. is averaging 25.6 FanDuel points through 44 games, with 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals, and 1.3 blocks per contest.
