Rudy Gay (wrist) has no timetable for Spurs return

San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (sprained left wrist) said there is no timetable for his return.

What It Means:

"I just need to make sure it’s better before I go back out there… I want to go out there and play freely," said Gay. "I came back [against the Memphis Grizzlies] and realized that I was in a position where I couldn’t really do much. I just need to make sure it’s better before I go back out there." Gay missed the past three games and four of the last six. Jakob Poeltl and Pau Gasol have both drawn starts during Gay's absence.

Gay is averaging 28.0 FanDuel points through 35 games (32 starts) this season, with 13.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 1.1 triples per contest.
