Landry Shamet scores career-high 29, sinks 8 triples in 76ers' victory
Philadelphia 76ers rookie point guard Landry Shamet scored a career-high 29 points (8-of-15 field goals, 5-of-5 free throws) with 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 8 3-pointers, and 1 turnover in 23.6 minutes of a 132-115 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
J.J. Redick was out with a sore back and Shamet made the most of the additional opportunity, setting career-highs in points, field goals (makes and takes), 3-pointers (makes and takes), and made free throws. It's not clear if Redick will return on Wednesday in Washington for the second half of the back-to-back set.
Shamet also set a career-best with 36.1 FanDuel points in the victory. Operating under the assumption Redick will be active on Wednesday, numberFire's models expect Shamet to score 12.8 FanDuel points, at a cost of $3,500.
