Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) reportedly targeting January 18 for season debut
Golden State Warriors forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) is targeting January 18 versus the Los Angeles Clippers for his season debut, according to Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
While there has been no official word from the Warriors on the accuracy of the date, mid-January falls in line with Cousins projected recovery timetable. The big man is likely to have a heavy minute restriction to start as he works his way to being full speed come playoff time.
Cousins averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.
