Rudy Gay ruled out for Spurs Monday due to left wrist sprain
San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay will not play on Monday against the Detroit Pistons due to a sprained left wrist.
Gay has been dealing with the issue since the end of December. Jakob Poeltl drew the start in Gay's last absence, but it was Davis Bertans who proved to be the primary beneficiary, with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 treys off the bench.
Gay is averaging 28.0 FanDuel points through 35 games (32 starts) this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 15.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 0.5 triples per contest over the rest of the year.
