Kawhi Leonard resting for Raptors' second half of back-to-back Sunday
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (rest) will not play against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday in the second half of the team's back-to-back set.
Leonard logged 38.0 minutes in Saturday's 123-116 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, finishing with 30 points (8-of-16 field goals, 12-of-15 free throws), 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, 2 3-pointers, and 2 turnovers. There was some hope that Leonard would start playing in both legs of back-to-backs soon, but the Raptors still want to take it easy on their star for now. OG Anunoby, Norman Powell, and CJ Miles all stand to benefit from Kawhi's absence.
Kawhi is averaging 45.9 FanDuel points through 32 games this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 26.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 2.1 triples per contest over the rest of the year.
