What It Means:
Whiteside logged over 30 minutes on Wednesday for the first time since December 2, so the workload may have done a number on him. If he's still hurting on Friday, the Heat may decide to give the big man the night off in a home matchup with the 8-27 Cleveland Cavaliers. Bam Adebayo would be in line for a start if Whiteside sits.
