Austin Rivers headed to Phoenix as part of multi-team deal on Friday
The Phoenix Suns acquired guard Austin Rivers on Friday from the Washington Wizards in exchange for forward Trevor Ariza.
What It Means:
Phoenix shook up their team on Friday, trading for guards Austin Rivers, MarShon Brooks, and Wayne Selden. With little depth at the guard positions, expect Rivers to play a lot of minutes with his new team.
Rivers is currently averaging 7.0 points and 2.0 assists per game this season.
