Dallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) plans to make his season debut on the road Thursday versus the Phoenix Suns, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com.
Nowitzki will likely be on a minutes limit as he embarks on his age-40 campaign. At 21 seasons, the future Hall of Fame big man is setting an NBA record for the longest career spent with one franchise.
