Kawhi Leonard (hip) sitting for Raptors on Tuesday in front end of back-to-back
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (hip) will not play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, head coach Nick Nurse said.
Leonard's status for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors is also up in the air. Nurse said the Raptors were targeting this back-to-back set as Leonard's first of the season, but he tweaked his hip on Sunday and is still sore. Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and C.J. Miles all stand to benefit from Kawhi's absence.
Kawhi is averaging 46.2 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him for 25.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.3 3-pointers per game over the rest of the year.
