Lauri Markkanen to replace Jabari Parker in Bulls' lineup Tuesday
Chicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen will start on Tuesday versus the Indiana Pacers, new head coach Jim Boylen announced.
Markkanen will take Jabari Parker's place in the first unit. He scored 10 points (4-of-14 field goals, 2-of-6 3-pointers) with 4 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal, and 2 triples over nearly 26 minutes off the bench in his season debut against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. The 21-year-old said he "felt good" and avoided any setbacks with his elbow.
Markkanen came away with 20.8 FanDuel points in his first game back. numberFire's models currently project him for 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.4 triples in 29.6 minutes per game over the rest of the season.
