Nerlens Noel (knee, illness) will play Tuesday for Sixers
Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel (knee, illness) will return from a two-game absence for Tuesday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Noel will come off the bench with a minutes restriction, so he makes for a risky play tonight. He did manage 16 points while making 7-of-9 shots the last time he played as a reserve. If he can get his shot to fall like in a friendly matchup with the Lakers, Noel could provide some nice tournament value. The values of JaKarr Sampson and Jerami Grant will take a significant hit.
Noel has struggled with his shot this season, only making 40.8 percent of his shots from the field. Against the Lakers, our metrics expect him to make 48.6 percent of his attempts while scoring 12.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.9 blocks. His disappointing -10.3 nERD ranks 148th.
