Damian Lillard (abdominal pain) uncertain for Trail Blazers on Tuesday
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard (abdominal pain) said he is unsure if he will be able to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
Lillard only played 17 minutes before leaving Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He believes the pain is the result of something he ate and admitted he will need to improve physically in order to play against the Mavericks. Lillard will be questionable until further notice. He hasn't missed a game in his career. C.J. McCollum would see a significant boost in value if Lillard can't go.
Lillard is the 41st-best player, according to our metrics, recording a 3.9 nERD. Taking on more responsibility in the offense has led to a career-high in scoring (24.3), but a career-worst in field goal percentage (41.9). He remains strong from the outside, making 2.8 treys a game at a 35.7 percent clip.
