Markelle Fultz (shoulder) out for 76ers at least a week
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Markelle Fultz will not participate in team practices or games until after he undergoes an evaluation from a shoulder specialist early next week.
Fultz will miss at least the next three games, which should lead to more run for T.J. McConnell. David Aldridge of The Athletic says this move was directed by Fultz' attorneys, Raymond Brothers, which is unusual and may indicate a conflict with the 76ers. Fultz is shooting 41.9 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 56.8 percent from the charity stripe over 22.5 minutes per game this season.
Last year's first overall pick is also averaging 19.5 FanDuel points through 19 games, with 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 0.9 steals per contest.
