Pelicans' Elfrid Payton (finger) expected to miss 6 weeks
New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a fractured left pinky.
Payton is expected to miss approximately six weeks. During Payton's previous absence, Jrue Holiday shifted to point guard and Wes Johnson entered the starting lineup.
