Bucks' Michael Carter-Williams totals 12 points, nine assists

Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams had his best game of the season in Monday's win over the Denver Nuggets, scoring 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with nine assists, six boards, three steals and three blocks in 30 minutes.

What It Means:

He did come off the bench behind Jerryd Bayless again, but he was very active on the defensive end and was jumping into passing lanes the entire game. After a sluggish start to the year, he needs to repeat this performance before we can declare him back.

Carter-Williams scored 16.7 and 14.6 points per game the past two seasons, but he's averaging just 9.8 points through 12 games. His assists (6.7 to 4.6) and rebounds (5.3 to 3.3) are down, as well.
