Russell Westbrook (ankle) progressing for Thunder, Saturday's status undecided
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook (ankle) went through some contact work at Friday's practice, head coach Billy Donovan said.
Westbrook's status for Saturday's game versus the Phoenix Suns remains in the air but he continues to move in the right direction after missing five straight games. Dennis Schroder has been filling in as the starting point guard and Paul George has taken on more work with Westbrook sidelined.
Westbrook is averaging 50.1 FanDuel points through seven games, with 24.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per contest.
