Denver's Juan Hernangomez scores season-high 25 in blowout
Denver Nuggets forward Juancho Hernangomez scored 25 points (9-of-12 field goals, 2-of-5 3-pointers, 5-of-7 free throws) with 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 turnover in 31.2 minutes of a 138-93 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
Hernangomez benefitted from extended minutes in the blowout, as he set a new season-high in points and equaled his best effort on the glass. It was also Hernangomez's second 20-point game of the season. He finished with single digits in every other outing. The Nuggets visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.
