New Orleans Pelicans forward Nikola Mirotic injured his right ankle in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 107-100 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Mirotic expects to have an MRI on Thursday but is optimistic that the injury is "no big deal." He just returned from a two-game absence due to an injury to the same ankle, so there's some concern. Julius Randle would benefit greatly if Mirotic misses time. The 27-year-old Spaniard finished with 16 points (7-of-14 field goals, 2-of-8 3-pointers), 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 turnovers in 33.5 minutes before leaving.
Mirotic scored 30.5 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He's averaging 38.7 FanDuel points through 12 games.
