Andrew Wiggins accumulates 23 points with full line, Timberwolves top Pelicans
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Andrew Wiggins scored 23 points (8-of-22 field goals, 4-of-9 3-pointers, 3-of-5 free throws) with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, and 2 turnovers in 38.1 minutes of a 107-100 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
The points are a new season-high while the boards and steals match his best efforts on the year. Jimmy Butler is gone and Wiggins' quad no longer seems to be an issue, so his arrow is pointing up heading into a home date with the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
Wiggins returned a season-high 46.2 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He's now scored over 40.0 FanDuel points twice this season and they both came in Wiggins' past three games.
