Luol Deng (hamstring) will not play for Heat on Monday
Miami Heat forward Luol Deng (tight left hamstring) has been ruled out of Monday's game versus the Boston Celtics.
Deng has been aiming to return against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, so this was the expectation. This will be the third consecutive game he has missed, and Gerald Green should start again in his place. Green has an unfavorable matchup against Boston's Avery Bradley. Justise Winslow should see an increase in minutes, as well.
Our models project Green to have 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists against the Celtics on Monday. His -2.0 nERD barely ranks in the top 100.
