Rudy Gay (heel) ruled out for Saturday by the Spurs
San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (heel) will not play on Saturday versus the Houston Rockets.
Gay sat out Wednesday as well with soreness in his right heel. The Spurs went with a small lineup in that game with Demar DeRozan and Bryn Forbes moving up a spot in the lineup and Derrick White joining the starting five. Davis Bertans also saw 26 minutes off the bench. Expect something similar on Saturday.
Gay has averaged 13.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 28.5 FanDuel points per game this season.
