Golden State Warriors point guard Quinn Cook will draw the start for Stephen Curry (groin) against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
Curry is day-to-day after an "encouraging" MRI on Friday, head coach Steve Kerr said. The Warriors will err on the side of caution with their game-breaking superstar, so Cook could be in the starting lineup for more than one game.
Cook averaged 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.2 3-pointers in 18 starts as a rookie last season.
