Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored 41 points (16-of-32 field goals, 3-of-8 3-pointers, 6-of-9 free throws) with 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 blocks, and 2 turnovers in 33.1 minutes of a 122-113 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The points are a new season-high and Embiid has now had a 20-point first half twice through nine games. After a 10-point dud on Monday, Embiid has ripped off 30-plus points and 10-plus boards in back-to-back outings. The 24-year-old already has six such games this season. The 76ers host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
