Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) cleared for non-contact team drills

Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) has made good progress in his rehabilitation and has been cleared for non-contact team drills.

What It Means:

Cousins had been doing individual drills the last few weeks but takes the next step forward in his recovery from Achilles surgery. He remains without a timetable for return but is expected to be ready to play by January. Damian Jones will continue to start at center until Cousins is ready.

Our models project Cousins for 19.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game this season.
