Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith will not play in Wednesday's season opener against the Toronto Raptors.
Smith is dealing with a sore right elbow. Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson will presumably pick up the bulk of the minutes at shooting guard in his absence.
Our models currently project Smith to average 9.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.
