Kyrie Irving comes out cold for Celtics in opener
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving made only 2-of-14 field goals (1-of-8 3-pointers) for 7 points with 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 turnovers in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Irving went into halftime 0-for-8 from the field but settled in a bit after the break. Coming off a knee injury on a deep roster, the Celtics can afford to ease Irving into things to start out the season as he shakes the rust off. Their next game is on Friday versus the Toronto Raptors.
Kyrie scored 19.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday, falling well short of numberFire's projection of 35.8 FanDuel points.
