Russell Westbrook (knee) ruled out for Thunder in Tuesday's opener versus Warriors
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook (right knee) will not suit up for Tuesday's regular-season opener against the Golden State Warriors.
Westbrook still hasn't participated in full contact work at practice, so he may miss more than just the opener. Dennis Schroder is the favorite to draw the start at point guard and Paul George will lead the way on offense. The Thunder play again on Friday versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
numberFire's models currently project Westbrook to average 27.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 10.1 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.7 3-pointers per game this season.
