San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (sore right heel) will play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Gay returned to practice on Monday after the heel issue kept him out of the Spurs' preseason finale. Entering his age-32 campaign, Gay figures to see between 25-30 minutes a game this season.
