Sacramento Kings guard Frank Mason is expected to open the 2018-19 regular season as the team's starting shooting guard.
With Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) sidelined for a few more weeks, Mason will slide into the starting lineup alongside De'Aaron Fox in the backcourt. Buddy Hield and Yogi Ferrell will man the second-unit for Sacramento.
Mason averaged 7.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 18.9 minutes per game in his rookie season last year.
