Lance Thomas will be Knicks' starting power forward to start season
New York Knicks forward Lance Thomas will open the year as the starting power forward, per head coach David Fizdale.
What It Means:
The Knicks had a hole at power forward with Kristaps Prozinigis out at least three months and Thomas will begin the year as the fill in. Mario Hezonja and Kevin Knox were considered but Knox will likely start at small forward with Hezonja backing up Thomas and Knox instead.
Thomas averaged just 4.1 points and 2.6 boards in 31 games he started in 2017-18.
