3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for the Two-Day 5/13/16 and 5/16/16 Slate

Which value options should you target on a star-studded two-day slate?

With only one game on both Friday and Monday guaranteed, daily fantasy contests that begin today include both nights.

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup.

Serge Ibaka, PF, Oklahoma City Thunder

FanDuel Price: $5,200

Serge Ibaka is coming off of a strange series against the Spurs. He had three solid games to start the series, then two pretty bad games, and then finished the series with another solid game. His fantasy production was limited by the success the Thunder had by playing both Enes Kanter and Steven Adams together.

However, with Oklahoma City now taking on the fast-paced Golden State Warriors, Ibaka will likely be called on to play more minutes. His versatility will be required whenever the Warriors play small-ball. The extended minutes will naturally help his fantasy production.

In the three games against Golden State this regular season, Ibaka averaged 38 minutes, 14.3 points, and 9.7 rebounds, culminating in 28.8 fantasy points in those three games.

The first game of a new series is always tough to predict. Rotations get mixed and minutes are gained and lost. In this situation though, Ibaka is fairly safe.

Terrence Ross, SG, Toronto Raptors

FanDuel Price: $3,700

Terrence Ross is far from a safe bet for fantasy production. In the first five games of the series against the Heat, he's posted 26.9, 14.4, 6.9, 17.1, and 11.9 FanDuel points. Those came in 27, 28, 19, 28, and 22 minutes.

He's averaging an unevenly-earned 15.4 fantasy points this series, which would give him a value of 4.2 (points per $1,000 in salary) based on his price tag for Friday. He is averaging 10.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

DeMarre Carroll is a game-time decision for Game 6. Without him, Ross should have a better shot at a useful outing.

Bismack Biyombo, C, Toronto Raptors

FanDuel Price: $5,500

Bismack Biyombo's price jumped up despite a fairly pedestrian outing in Game 5 (25.2 FanDuel points in 38 minutes). However, the safety and upside are still there for Biyombo with Jonas Valanciunas out for the rest of the series.

Biyombo averaged 7.5 points and 12.3 rebounds in 21 regular-season contests without Valanciunas this season. In the two games this series without Valanciunas, Biyombo is averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds.

Hassan Whiteside is listed as out for Game 6, so Biyombo should be able to control the glass again.
