3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 4/23/16

Jamal Crawford stands to see his role for the Clippers increase as J.J. Redick deals with an injury. Who else can provide you with fantasy value today?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Raymond Felton, PG, Dallas Mavericks

FanDuel Price: $5,600

Raymond Felton leads the Mavericks with 36.0 minutes per game to start the playoffs, and is second on the team with 13.7 field goal attempts per game.

Deron Williams' status is very much up in the air for Game 4, and even if he plays, it would be a surprise if he played full minutes.

Felton isn't the most efficient player in the world, but when you can get a guy likely to play 35-plus minutes and put up 15-plus shots for such a low price, it's hard to not to like it.

Jamal Crawford, SG, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Price: $4,200

JJ Redick hasn't practiced prior to Game 3, and Doc Rivers has said he will be monitoring Redick's minutes because of his heel injury. Less Redick means more Jamal Crawford.

Even with Redick playing in both games so far, Crawford is averaging 27.1 minutes and 11.0 field goal attempts per game to start the series.

Portland finished the regular season with a 108 Defensive Rating, which ranked 20th in the league and was the second-worst among playoff teams. They also struggled to defend guards, allowing above average fantasy production to opponents at both guard positions.

Al-Farouq Aminu, SF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $5,500

Al-Farouq Aminu has been excellent to start the playoffs for the Trail Blazers. His 28.2 FanDuel points per game are second on the team (only 1.9 per game behind Damian Lillard), and he's playing 30.5 minutes per game.

He averaged a career-high 10.2 points as well as 6.1 rebounds per game this season, with a 16.9 percent Usage Rate that is an increase over the past couple of seasons.

This game has the highest over/under on the slate at 207.5, and the Clippers and Blazers have the highest combined pace of the games on the slate. Aminu will likely be part of the strong fantasy production that comes from this one.
