Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 4/13/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

We have made it to the regular season finale, and we have a lot of updates for you!

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

The Cavaliers, Clippers, Spurs, and Raptors are all sitting their main guys. Now let's take at each team a little closer.

Cavaliers - The reigning Eastern Conference champs are resting Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, and Kevin Love. This news will open up a lot of value, but more specifically, Matthew Dellavedova and Channing Frye will benefit the most. Both are listed at the minimum salary on FanDuel and should each be able to produce way above value.

The Cavaliers' situation is interesting because there hasn't been a game this year that all three have missed the same game. Somebody will have to play and shoot for them. Our projections also like Timofey Mozgov and Richard Jefferson at their prices who are, you guessed it, minimally price.

Clippers - Unlike the Cavaliers, we have seen the Clippers sit their main players before, so we have a little more with which to work. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, J.J. Redick, and Jamal Crawford are all out tonight for the Clips.

Cole Aldrich has been solid when he has received extended minutes in the past and will have another great opportunity tonight -- our projections have him slated for close to 40 fantasy points tonight at just $5,000 in salary. The other main target you should know about is Austin Rivers. He missed the last game the starters sat out, but the time before that, he scored 46 fantasy points against the Thunder to close out March. Coming in at just $3,900, Rivers is a strong play tonight.

Spurs - The Spurs are resting everyone. It'll be quicker to list who is playing and that list is basically Patrick Mills, Kyle Anderson, Boris Diaw and Boban Marjanovic. These four will see a majority of the minutes and shots in tonight's meaningless game. Marjanovic saw 22 minutes last night when LaMarcus Aldridge exited early. He will see a lot of playing time tonight as well with everyone out and is a mere $4,000.

Kyle Anderson has also proven to have a decent floor in games that Kawhi Leonard sits and could be a solid option tonight as well.

Raptors - Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, and Jonas Valanciunas are out for Toronto. In the games that Valanciunas has missed this year, Bismack Biyombo has been nothing short of phenomenal. At just $4,100 he is almost a must-play tonight for me. He is one of the few cheaper options who has already proven himself as an elite low-cost player.

Cory Joseph ($4,500) and Norman Powell ($4,600) are both solid options for the Raptors as well. With Lowry and DeRozan out, the ball will be in Joseph and Powell's hands early and often.

The To-Be-Determined List

The Atlanta Hawks may rest their main guys as well. Apparently, resting your stars is the cool thing to do, and the Hawks don't want to miss out. If the main guys are sidelined, I really like Dennis Schroder because he is just $3,800 and has the upside of a $7,000 player. Like Biyombo from above, Schroder has excelled when he has had the opportunity.

Deron Williams is questionable tonight for the Mavericks, and his teammates Jose Juan Barea and Devin Harris have already been ruled out. If Williams joins the other two on the bench, Raymond Felton will be as appealing as he has ever been. Both he and Wesley Matthews may play 40 minutes tonight.
