4 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 4/6/16
Henry Sims is now starting for the Nets at a very low price. Who else should you target to save money?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at four guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup tonight. Of course, remember to check our projections closer to tip because so much can change in the NBA throughout the day.

Henry Sims, C, Brooklyn Nets

FanDuel Price: $4,000

With Brook Lopez shut down for the remainder of the season, Henry Sims has been slotted into the starting lineup for the Nets. In his last contest, Sims played 30 minutes and racked up 22 fantasy points.

Coming in at just $4,000 tonight, Sims seems to be a great option where you can save money -- provided that the Nets down get blown out. They may be terrible, but someone has to score and rebound for them.

Jerian Grant, PG, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Jerian Grant is filling in for the injured Jose Calderon. Grant is seeing his minutes in the high 20's and provided that Calderon is out again, that shouldn't change. He shot 2-for-9 last game and still hit four times his cost (points per $1,000 in salary).

Grant is more of a tournament play because he is unproven and can put up a dud at any moment. However, for his cost, I like his upside and the opportunity that New York will continue to give him.

Luke Babbitt, SF, New Orleans Pelicans

FanDuel Price: $5,000

Luke Babbitt has benefited a lot with the numerous injuries to the Pelicans lately. He is receiving a lot of playing time, and don't laugh, he has emerged as one of their main scoring options on offense.

He is averaging 19 shot attempts in his last three games. To help put that in context, his 19 shot attempts are more than LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George. Don't expect production even remotely close to those players, but the mass amount of shot attempts is very promising for Babbitt.

Derrick Williams, PF, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $3,700

With Kristaps Porzingis listed as doubtful tonight, the $3,700 price tag for Derrick Williams is just too low to pass up. He has been very productive when he has been given the chance. Porzingis has missed three straight games, and Williams is averaging 21.2 fantasy points, which is good enough for 5.9 fantasy points per $1,000 in salary.

The only negative to Williams is that he will likely be highly owned tonight, especially on FanDuel.

As always, make sure to watch for updates as the games get closer. This time of year, there are a lot of late scratches, as players are resting for the playoffs, which can drastically change the landscape of the value plays.
