Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 3/25/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

Kawhi Leonard is out for the Spurs tonight as they take on the Grizzlies. In his absence, Kyle Anderson will likely be put into the starting lineup. Anderson is an interesting punt option because he is so cheap. However, there is definitely a lot of risk to him as he was inconsistent the last time Leonard missed time. The other two players who will benefit the most will be LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker. Both of their Usage Rates jump significantly. On top of that, tonight is a rest day for Boris Diaw, Danny Green, and Patrick Mills. With those three out as well as Leonard, the Spurs will be pretty shorthanded tonight. Parker, Aldridge, and Anderson are all worth a strong look in daily fantasy tonight.

Tyson Chandler didn't travel with the Suns to Sacramento, which bodes well for Jon Leuer. In the last two games, Leuer has put up 13 points and 13 rebounds and then 22 points with 14 rebounds. He is likely be highly owned tonight but should do well with a lot of playing time against the fastest team in the NBA. Leuer is coming it at just $4,600 on FanDuel with a very good chance to score 30-plus fantasy points.

Zach Randolph has been ruled out tonight already. This opens up a lot of playing time for JaMychal Green again. Green's price is still relatively high from the last stretch that Randolph missed, but he could be worth a shot in bigger tournaments. Based on his price, our projections don't love him.

Dirk Nowitzki is not suiting up for their game tonight. Deron Williams and Devin Harris will also sit out for the Mavericks. This definitely adds a lot of value to David Lee, Raymond Felton, and Juan Jose Barea. The scary part here is that Dallas is facing Golden State. There is always a blowout risk when you face the Warriors, but now with three big pieces missing the game, the blowout risk becomes even scarier.

The To-Be-Determined List

Victor Oladipo has been given a questionable tag for tonight as the Magic take on the Heat. Oladipo has been red-hot of late, but if he does sit out, the biggest bump in value will go to Mario Hezonja. Starting point guard, Elfrid Payton will also benefit from Oladipo's absence.
