Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 3/24/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

Ryan Anderson has already been ruled out for Pelicans, which will most closely benefit Luke Babbitt. Babbitt has been spectacular in the last two contests, scoring a combined 51 fantasy points. New Orleans is beat up pretty badly right now, so some lower-end players are getting a lot of minutes. Babbitt is just $3,800 on FanDuel and could provide great value again.

The To-Be-Determined List

Norris Cole has missed the last eight contests for the aforementioned Pelicans. In his absence, Toney Douglas has been the biggest beneficiary while Tim Frazier has gotten a nice boost as well. If Cole does in fact sit again, Douglas is a very interesting target because he has been so consistent recently. In the eight games that Cole has missed, Douglas has paid at least five times his cost (five fantasy points per $1,000 salary) in all eight games. He seems very safe again while he is getting extended minutes.

Pau Gasol is questionable for the second game of a back-to-back for the Bulls. If he sits, that will mean an increase in value to all three of Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, and Bobby Portis. Gibson and Mirotic are definitely the safer plays of the trio. Unfortunately, Chicago's coach, Fred Hoiberg, has been fairly inconsistent with the playing time when Gasol sits out. With that said, Mirotic did just go off for 35 points and 9 three-pointers last night and is just $4,700 on FanDuel
