3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 3/22/16

With the injuries to the Pelicans, Toney Douglas should be a solid value pick tonight. Who else should you target?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup tonight. Of course, remember to check our projections closer to tip because so much can change in the NBA throughout the day.

Michael Beasley, SF, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $4,800

Michael Beasley has been fantastic recently. There's no other way to put it. In his last six games, he has paid over five times his price tag (five fantasy points per $1,000 in salary) in every game. In fact he has been more than 6.4 times his cost in five of the six games. Our projections love him again tonight as the Houston Rockets take on the fast-paced Thunder. Beasley is a pretty inexpensive option who has recently had a very high floor and ceiling. He scored 36 fantasy points last time out.

Toney Douglas, PG, New Orleans Pelicans

FanDuel Price: $5,000

The Pelicans just shut down Anthony Davis for the season, and Ryan Anderson was out Monday -- New Orleans may shut him down as well. With those two out of the lineup, there are a lot of shots to go around. Toney Douglas will likely benefit a bit from their absence. He scored 35 fantasy points on FanDuel last contest and has paid at least five times his price in seven straight games. Douglas seems pretty safe tonight at a lower-end price tag.

Cody Zeller, PF, Charlotte Hornets

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Our projection system really likes Cody Zeller tonight. He has been very solid the last two nights and is seeing right around 29 minutes a game now. The Hornets are facing the Nets, who give up the sixth-most fantasy points to power forwards on the season. Aside from leaving a game at halftime, Zeller is coming off three straight solid performances. The power forward position is pretty shallow on tonight's smaller slate, so saving money here may be a decent strategy.
