Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Thursday 4/2/15
With only three games on the docket and a bunch of question marks heading into the slate, last night was not an ideal DFS night. Perfect lineup scores went from in the 400s on Wednesday to barely cracking 300 last night. That said, there were a few bright spots from the six teams who took the court.
As I mentioned in yesterday's NBA DFS helper, with Alex Len sidelined with a broken nose, Brandan Wright slid into the Suns' starting lineup and immediately became one of the best value plays on the board. Wright backed up my claim with an impressive 16-point, 12-rebound, 2-steal, 2-block performance in what ended up being an extremely exciting game which came down to the wire. Much of the reason why the game was so close was because MVP candidate Stephen Curry was spectacular. Curry poured in 28 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists, including this clutch three with eight seconds left to help secure the Warriors' league-leading 62nd win.
While the matchup between the Suns and Warriors was the most exciting on the slate, there were two other games that were also played last night. In Cleveland, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving dominated the Heat after Dwyane Wade went down with a knee injury, combining for 46 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks in a dominant victory over Miami. Meanwhile, in Dallas, it was Trevor Ariza and Josh Smith pushing the Rockets over their in-state rivals. Ariza and Smith combined for 34 points, 18 boards, 9 dimes, 4 steals and 2 blocks to lead Houston to victory, while James Harden had a bit of an off night.
Unlike last night, tonight's slate features 10 games and should have a ton of value on the board.
