5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 1/10/23

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays.

If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at some players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup on FanDuel tonight, using numberFire's daily fantasy basketball projections as a guide.

Gabe Vincent, PG/SG, Miami Heat
Haywood Highsmith, SF, Miami Heat

Vincent FanDuel Salary: $4,000
Highsmith FanDuel Salary: $3,900

Take your pick with the Miami Heat for value.

They are without Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry -- among others.

We have Gabe Vincent and Haywood Highsmith inside the top three in projected value here at numberFire, but we can also look to Orlando Robinson ($5,700), Max Strus ($5,100), Dewayne Dedmon ($3,900), and Victor Oladipo ($5,700).

Vincent has had just one start this season but played 30.6 minutes in it and had 19.4 FanDuel points. Highsmith has six starts this season. In them, he's averaged 27.6 minutes and 19.6 fantasy points.

The minutes are just going to be up for a lot of guys, so we can take the value with Miami and go from there.

Isaiah Stewart, C/PF, Detroit Pistons
Hamidou Diallo, SG/SF, Detroit Pistons

Stewart FanDuel Salary: $5,600
Diallo FanDuel Salary: $4,400

I'm doubling up once again here. Isaiah Stewart and Hamidou Diallo have huge value projections for the Detroit Pistons in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Stewart's salary is higher -- but deservedly so. Stewart is projected for 34.6 minutes and 33.6 FanDuel points in this game. He just played 35.1 minutes last time out and generated 37.6 FanDuel points. Joel Embiid is questionable, and his absence would free up Stewart for sure.

Diallo is expected to play 28.9 minutes and put up 26.2 FanDuel points. Diallo could be in line to draw his first start of the season with such a lengthy injury list for Detroit. In seven games in which he played at least 20 minutes, Diallo has averaged 24.6 FanDuel points and 1.10 per minute.

Terance Mann, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Salary: $4,500

The Los Angeles Clippers are without Paul George but will have Kawhi Leonard. That's still a big opportunity for Terance Mann.

Mann has a projected minutes output of 34.9 -- along with a fantasy projection of 27.8 FanDuel points.

Mann, in three games without George but with Leonard, has started twice and has averaged 30.1 minutes and 26.8 FanDuel points, good for 0.89 per minute. The Clippers are also up against the Dallas Mavericks, a below-average defense.

Put it all together, and Mann is numberFire's top projected value play tonight.
